What is a ProofCohort certificate?
A ProofCohort credential records the learning program or skill assessment described by its issuer. It has an identifier and a public verification link so another person can check the issued record. Verification establishes what the record says; it does not by itself establish government accreditation, employer endorsement, employment experience or universal acceptance by colleges.
How do I become eligible and what does it cost?
For a standard program certificate, every weekly task must be reviewed or approved with at least 65%. An eligible learner can then purchase the optional ₹499 program certificate bundle. Participation itself is free. A skill certificate is a different product: it costs ₹199 after completing and passing the relevant skill assessment. Payment does not replace assessment, and a program application does not automatically result in an issued certificate.
How can someone verify an issued certificate?
Use the link on the actual issued credential or scan its QR code. Check the destination carefully: ProofCohort's verification pages are on proofcohort.in. Compare the online record with the document rather than relying on an image or a copied logo. Public verification is intentionally separate from search indexing of learner records.
- Compare the recipient's name and credential ID with the issued document.
- Check the program or skill, result and issue date shown on the record.
- Read any test-mode or administrative-exception label before interpreting the result.
- If the link cannot verify the record or details disagree, contact ProofCohort support with the credential ID. Do not treat a broken or unrelated link as successful verification.
Who issues the certificate and what does registration mean?
ProofCohort issues its own learning credentials. A partner-issued or co-branded credential requires an actual authorized arrangement, which must be confirmed for that program. The business registration information and support contact are published on the contact page. Udyam registration identifies an enterprise; it is not accreditation of a course or government endorsement of a certificate. Check the actual issuer and program conditions rather than inferring recognition from a registration number.
Will my college or an employer accept it?
Acceptance depends on the receiving institution's requirements. Before enrolling for college credit, send your coordinator the specific program syllabus, duration, assessment and issuer details and request approval. For employment applications, describe the learning accurately and provide inspectable project evidence. ProofCohort does not guarantee a job, placement or academic credit. A verification link lets someone check a record; it cannot make an acceptance decision on their behalf.
What if I paid but cannot access my certificate?
Check your account and payment status before attempting another payment. Contact support through the contact page with your account email, order or payment ID, payment date, amount and a description of the issue. Never send a card number, CVV, OTP or banking password. Duplicate charges, undelivered purchases and other payment problems are reviewed using the transaction and delivery records. The payment-help page explains the process and how refund requests are handled; no blanket voluntary refund window is advertised.
Where can I see the program before applying?
You can browse the catalog, syllabus, prerequisites, assessment guide and fees without an account. Sign in when you are ready to apply. Choose a program based on the work you can commit to completing, and confirm any college-specific requirement before starting.
